Hi, I’m Kelly and I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and Functional Nutritionist. I am passionate about teaching people how to train and nourish their bodies so that they can unleash their potential, look and feel their best, and drop food fears and bodily insecurities.
I believe the best training and nutrition program is unique to each individual. Thus, I always strive use quality science with practical application to get the best results for each person I work with.
With fitness I specialize in strength training and conditioning, weight loss, and incorporate bodybuilding and powerlifting principles into my programming. With nutrition I specialize in finding the root cause of imbalance preventing people from seeing results. I work with both chronic illness and fitness-specific diets.
I have been researching aspects of nutrition, fitness, and wellness since I was in grade school. I have an undergraduate degree in Health Promotion Studies from Western Connecticut State University, and a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. I am an ACSM certified personal trainer and Usui Reiki Master. I began my career working in corporate health and fitness centers creating wellness programs and taking on personal training clients. I decided to make the jump to entrepreneurship and started Kelly Raquel Fitness & Nutrition to see clients privately.
In my free time, I can be found lifting, practicing yoga, catching up on research, hanging out with my dog, soaking up the sun, and creating new recipes to share with the world. I currently offer in-person training in Austin, TX, and virtual personal training and nutrition consultations anywhere worldwide.
